Welcome to KidSafeTV. By using our service you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before creating an account or using the platform.
KidSafeTV is a child-safe YouTube viewing platform operated by TV Tantrum Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). The service is available via the web at www.kidsafetv.com and through our mobile companion app for Android and iOS.
KidSafeTV provides curated, age-appropriate video content for children by filtering and organising YouTube videos. We do not host video content ourselves — all videos are streamed from YouTube via the YouTube IFrame Player API.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use the service. KidSafeTV is designed for use by parents, guardians, and authorised caregivers who manage viewing sessions for children.
Children should only access KidSafeTV under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or authorised caregiver. Children should not create their own accounts.
To use KidSafeTV you must create an account by providing a valid email address and authenticating through Google or email/password registration. You are responsible for:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used fraudulently.
KidSafeTV may offer a free trial (currently 7 days). On the web, starting a trial collects a card through Stripe. You are not charged during the trial. App Store and Google Play trials, where offered, are billed by Apple or Google and follow that store's rules.
After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Plans and prices are shown at the point of purchase. Web payments are processed by Stripe. App Store and Google Play payments are processed by Apple or Google, not by us.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel a web subscription from your account settings. That cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until that date. App Store and Google Play subscriptions are cancelled in your Apple or Google account settings, not inside KidSafeTV.
Deleting your KidSafeTV account is not the same as cancelling. See Account deletion below.
You can delete your account from the app, including at app.kidsafetv.com/delete-account when you are signed in. Deletion is permanent. It removes your sign-in, children, sessions, and watch history, and you lose access immediately.
If you have a web (Stripe) trial or subscription, we cancel it immediately when the account is deleted. You will not be charged again. Any unused time in the current period is forfeited. It is not refunded automatically and it is not moved to a new account. If you want to keep watching until the period ends, cancel the subscription instead of deleting the account.
App Store and Google Play subscriptions are not cancelled when you delete your KidSafeTV account. Cancel those in your Apple or Google Play subscription settings, or you may still be charged. A new KidSafeTV account does not inherit a cancelled web subscription. Restoring purchases on the same Apple or Google account may turn store access back on. That does not restore a cancelled web subscription.
Organisation accounts cannot delete themselves. They can request deletion, and the account stays active until an admin approves it.
We may offer a limited "Founding Member" programme with a one-time payment that grants extended access to the platform. Founding member terms (including duration and benefits) are described at the point of purchase and may vary. Founding member status is non-transferable.
If you are unhappy with the service, please contact us at hello@tvtantrum.com within 14 days of your purchase and we will do our best to resolve the issue, including issuing a refund where appropriate.
Refund requests made after 14 days will be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
When using KidSafeTV you agree not to:
KidSafeTV curates and filters YouTube content to provide age-appropriate viewing for children. However, we do not guarantee that all content will be suitable for every child or every family's standards. We assign stimulation ratings and age categories to help parents make informed decisions.
Parents and caregivers retain ultimate responsibility for supervising their children's viewing and should review the content available through their child's profile.
We do not own or control the underlying YouTube content and cannot guarantee its permanent availability. Videos may be removed or become unavailable if the original creator deletes or restricts them on YouTube.
The KidSafeTV platform, including its design, features, branding, and software, is the intellectual property of TV Tantrum Ltd. All rights are reserved.
Video content displayed through the service remains the property of its respective creators and is subject to YouTube's terms of service.
